Funky Junkee

Yahsteck1 - started a couple of riffs in Rifflink back in June and Charvelguy - put some very very tasty guitar riffs with it and builds a killer arrangement. Rotund gets an inspiration writes some simple lyrics and sings over Tom (LOL.) Rick calls me and say's what's up Dude..........This one has been waiting too long. - well here it is. Rick thanks for letting me be your Rifflink Junkee Jacker cuz I think this one is cool beans. Listen to the bridge it is actually 3 maybe 4 different riffs that Charvelguy has spliced and arranged into one. Pretty damn cool and over the top musical talent on his part.

My One and Only
More

Thanks to Josh and Wiese for your contributions to this song. Wiese your ability to pick up a tune and play a guitar part that fits any genre is absolutely amazing and well Josh it goes without saying, what would Riffworld be without your amazing ability to collab on the fly as well as post solo bass riffs and have songs magically develop from them. I am so blessed to get to do this and have musicians of this level just come on from an invite add to my stuff like this. Thank you.

I'll Never Get Back
More

I dedicate this to my Son Trenton who sang harmony with me. He is leaving for the Navy this month. Bestage awesome acoustic lead - I thought Willie himself had joined up. Meesh thanks for the fender adds perfect and speical thanks for responding to my nagging about joining this collaboration. Josh thanks for coming back and completing the riffs you did that disappeared. Leaving my bass fill-ins would have been disaster. Trik thanks getting things started. It was the inspriation that set the stage for the electric guitar sounds. And Hans for the keyboards to fill out the chorus.

ROUGHNECK featuring Joshua001
More

Roughneck is supposed to represent the hard working oil and gas men that work on the floor of a drilling rig. Which I did many years ago. They work no matter what the conditions are to keep the rig running 24/7. Josh on bass is what this song is all about.
