This is an old Journey Tribute and I am an old Neal Schon fan.

Final updated file. I played all of the Keys, Bass, Rhythm and Lead Guitar Parts - No samples were used, I just plugged in and went for it. Drums were DOD of course. No add in programs just plain ol' Riff Works - What a great program! Carey Davis

Thanks for all of the email. I swapped the leads around so that it flows better, added some cool effects to the guitar parts before the lead and a better ending. Your input helped this song tremendously. Keep your ideas coming. I also added another verse and chorus too - thanks again. Scott - I loved the Panama thing - I put some EVH in the second part of the lead too - trill picking and 4-finger tapping to boot. Carey.

Well, I thought I would try another run with the same guitar (Dean EVO Special Select - an unbelievable guitar for the money - Les Paul look-alike) and the same DOD (Drums on Demand). Sorry again about not having drums or keys - I am at home recovering from knee surgery and I can't get around much. This software is AWESOME. As with the first post - I am just experimenting with effects - not making actual songs. That's why these are so repetitive and boring. The middle part of this song is just messing around with the auto-wah filters. Impressive effects SONOMA! To answer the guitar sound question for my first post (**New Song with RiffWorks)** I am using the PODxt with amp model "Line 6 Spinal Puppet" and Cab model "4X12 2001 Line 6" For the new "Funky" riff I am using the Amp Model "1987 Jazz Clean" and CAB Model "2X12 1987 Jazz Clean" Thanks for asking ……… Carey

I love this product. This is just a podxt and DOD - haven't had time for bass and keys yet! Carey Davis
