Who's this dug guy anyways?

Dan, Dave and I wrote RiffWorks back in 2003-2004. Then Dan (aka dan56, don't ask about the first 55) decided to make a simple blog kind of thing so we could hear what people were doing with the software. RiffCaster was born, and almost immediately, people started talking about working on songs together. That was the motivation behind RiffLink. Again, Dan came up with a way for RiffWorks to talk to our server and share a RiffWorks song directly, instead of having to do some convoluted ftp file sharing thing. Just use RiffWorks like it's a multi-player game. Finally we took the RiffCaster posts and combined them with the RiffLink collaborations and a cool user profile to make RiffWorld! And here you are, and I'm telling you about it:)

I'm the guitar player of the bunch. I have a monster collection of guitar pedals. You'll hear more about that in the near future. But for the moment, you can check out my gear list.





I'm also into cars... No not big gas guzzlin cars. Small, light-weight, fun to drive cars like Porsche 914s and Mazda Miatas. I have a Ford F350 that I run bio-diesel in to haul stuff around (like when we recently moved back to California from Colorado. I did the whole move on 50% or more bio-diesel. I'd really like to build an electric 914 as my next project. We'll see if I find time for that!
