<title>On The Turning Away (David Gilmour Tribute)</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>This may be my favourite guitar solo of all time, and I just HAD to do it! It's based on one of those backing tracks I wrote about in the forum. Those of you familiar with this masterpiece will notice that the first 2 minutes are remodeled after the recorded and the famous live version of the song, the final - and obviously weaker - minute is my improvisation. As always, I used Amit's intelliriffer to import the song to RW. Since I don't own one of those fantastic Gilmour Strats, I had to use my Yamaha since David's string bends really hurt my fingers on any other guitar :-)</itunes:summary>

<title>Beauzeau's Birthday Present</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Here's my first DS10 sequencer track! As everybody who owns that piece of gear, too, will recognize, it's just playing around with the Demo song. I hooked the DS on to the Guitar Port, recorded with RW, added instant drums and REX drums there, added real bass and guitar, some effects - and here we go!</itunes:summary>

<title>Marrakesh</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Since I'm going to Marrakesh tonight, I thought I better finish this piece here before as a goodbye present to myself :-) Nothing oriental to it, just a - how do you call it? When you play against the beat?

Guitars used: PRS SE Allender Drop-D and PRS Custom 24 regular tuning. I sorta enjoy playing stuff with differently tuned guitars.</itunes:summary>

<title>Pump</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Here's my latest riffrumble effort for y'all - hope you like it! I'm kinda influenced by JouniL these days, what with these one-beat pauses and half-bar intros. And after I had added the keyboards, I felt it sounded a bit like Aldo Nova back in the day. In any case - good luck with the Rumble, everyone!</itunes:summary>

<title>Der Weg zum Titel</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>"Der Weg zum Titel" is German and loosely translates into "The road to the championship". The championship obviously is this year´s EURO football cup, and this song is dedicated to our national team as it struggles to overcome football superpowers like Croatia and Austria. I've spent the past 7 days between 5 and 11 p.m. in front of big screens, watching football and drinking beer, and this song was literally finished in the half-time break of yesterday´s Spain vs Sweden game. So here we go - Deutschland vor, noch ein Tor! </itunes:summary>

<title>Marc &amp; Me: Ambient Revisited</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Ambient electro meets RiffWorks! This was made possible by Atawar´s intelliriffer and wavechunker programs that enabled me to import the ambient electro recording of my friend Marc B and add drums, bass and guitar in RW. Finally I´ve created something that´s NOT Rock, Blues or Metal :-D</itunes:summary>

<title>The Glorious Revolution</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>It only shows in the solo parts, but with this one I´ve discovered the neck PU of my PRS. For the hardrockin´ thing, I´ve always, always played the bridge PU only, sometimes wondering why guitar manufacturers add more pickups to that at all? And now I´m totally smitten with the neck PU. I played the solo on JouniL´s Megadeth cover with it and basically all recent collabs, and I feel as if I got a new lease on life :-D</itunes:summary>

<title>21st Century Rock</title>
<itunes:author>redbaron</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle></itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Didn´t want to participate in RR at first for lack of inspiration. But then I thought: Hey, some Rockin´Blues always goes! And I wanted it to be a little challenge, so all blues schemes in this song are 20-bar riffs, not tiny 4-bars that make it easy to patch together something acceptable from fragments of inspiration you collect over days :-D

Anyway, it´s not much, but I hope you like it!</itunes:summary>
