dauphin hand made classical--
i've sold all my gear over the years, but my favorite rig of all was my fender bassman 135watt tube amp with a 4x12 cabinet (any would do) cranked up to ear splitting speaker distortion -- now i just have a peavey practice amp :( -- guitar port has brought me back from musical death!

My life as a musician:

MySpace music page: http://www.myspace.com/olsonson

I live and breathe music
it IS my blood... My earliest memories are of wanting to play guitar. I begged my parents until they bought me one at age 5. I wailed on that thing for months before they got me lessons and there was no looking back. I remember playing in front of the whole school in 3rd or 4th grade...damn that was scary! BUT I LOVED IT! I kept playing and finally got an electric at age 13, after begging some more. By middle school I was in a band and from there formed and joined a half dozen or so other bands over the next 15 years. From high school on I started learning audio recording and live sound reinforcement from northwest legendary recording engineer Kearney Barton. I had bagged my first studio recorded album as an engineer and as a performer before highschool was over and had also gathered a following for one of my earliest bands, Blackroom, which broke up in the early 90's. Around 1990 I started doing live sound gigs all over the Seattle area, eventually settling in as soundman for the OK Hotel in Seattle and as a freelance engineer. I created a punk cover band Old Man Smithers in 1997 and played bass in one of the coolest bands ever, Fumundah for a couple years at the same time. Doing sound I worked with bands (or members of); SoundGarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Los Lonely Boys, Willie Nelson, BB King, Monster Magnet, Modest Mouse, King Missle & many others over the last 17 years - too many for me to remember! Luckily my wife remembers most of them... LOL!

I will be releasing all of my demo's here. After a 10 year hiatus from music, I'm trying to break off the rust and get my ass back into playing. Some of this stuff you will find here over time may be going back 20 years....... I just have to say that my inspiration has returned, or at least been nitrous injected since I bought RIFFWORKS! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
