My name's J.J. and I live in Apex NC USA. I've been playing since I was 10, and one could argue I'm not much better than I was then! But I enjoy it so you'll just have to listen to me anyway :) I played in a band back in college a long long time ago (ancient times, late 80s). I bounced around some studios with a friend in the early 90s, then like most people got serious about work, family, kids, houses etc. and moved on. In late 2005 I decided to finally record those old songs I had written but never got around to recording. I got a PODxt and that's where I discovered RiffWorks. I know my way around a DAW but RiffWorks makes creating music so simple. With RiffWorks you can get your ideas out quickly before the inspiration fades. That creates it's own problem, I can't seem to sit down to record those old songs without a new one popping up first. So the old ones will just have to wait, it's okay they are already old! In my spare time I'm trying to write and get some placements, also I consult with folks here and there on various projects they are doing to help them on their way.
