Here's my first track using Riffworks. I used a Strat for the Rhythmn parts, an SG for the lead. Still figuring out the mixdown. critiques welcome.

this song was written and recorded in a about 2 hours on a sunday afternoon .it was intended to be a joke on three of my coworkers and good freinds Art (big ugly)Dave(the hippie)and Earl The Pearl who came up with the phrase don't be a melvin.We all work at Ga. Jackson JD-R with Duncan JB in bridge for rythmn/Lil '59 for clean and lead parts, Modeled both Marshall JCM 800/Brit Cel 75 4X12 cab with a Tube screamer and a Mesa Dual Recto/Vintage 30's 4X12 cab with a Rat Dist., Fernandes Tremor bass with both Jazz neck pickup and MM humbucker bridge positions blended and heavy chorus. T'was the season to be jolly,worlds gone mad, too much folly. I started this one in late October and havent had the time or ideas to add to this one.The vocs were sort of Ian Anderson influenced.The begining is sort of maby celtic/mid east.After the one verse vocals is some piano that i did that changes the mood.Intrested in your comments! Moonshine woman

Score I composed and recorded cheaply in 1991 and have tried to enhance but that's a bugger. Ballad feeling from the heart tune I enjoyed going along the journey with. No bridge as I wanted to leave out the predictable oughts, shoulds and musts of 'HOW TO" and just let the listener see or hear they might enjoy the simplicity and not critique policy manuals on how to be right, but how to do it from the heart the right way. I may be wrong; I'm okay with that. Jett
