Immolation or Immolate means to sacrifice / destroy by fire.

'Bush-Fire', my Riff-Rumble 11: 'Heat Wave' submission tells a tale of the devastation caused by forest and bush fires on the natural environment when dry wood and vegetation ignite during unusually long periods of scorching heat. They are extraordinarily difficult to extinguish and can travel at breakneck speed while engulfing anything combustible in their path. In recent years parts of Portugal, California and Cyprus have been ravaged leaving no wildlife and just a black shadow on the land. Another truly frightening force of nature.

Learning about RiffRumble 11, this song's structure just flowed. Like a wave, building slowly at first, gets big by the 1st chorus, dives into the "tube" for the solo, with an intense surge in the 3rd verse. After the 2nd and final chorus, the wave's crashed and quickly disappears. Composed the music, wrote the lyrics, sang and played guitars and bass parts. New to the software, I limited myself to 4 tracks throughout. Hope you'll hear the Flamenco, Latin, jazz, and rock influences. After all, it doesn't get much hotter than Spanish music! Several key and tempo changes + some complex meters (11/4 by my math) + various styles = prog! I wasn't striving for the unusual, but going where my ear led me.
