I wrote this one as a straight ahead simple rock song with simple easy to remember lyrics.. Hopefully it will turn into classic, and my great grand kids will listen to it while cruising on their hydrogen powered hoover boards.. If not it will be on a cd that I pull out every Christmas and play real loud to hopefully amuse and entertain(?) my family. friends and neighbors!

this song is about my wife and i splitting up and reuniting. lyrics i made some mistakes along the way in my life there's things i regret i'll never forget it's so hard when i said goodbye the tears in your eyes were flowing but i didn't see how painful it could be at christmas the snow is on the way i can hear myself say i'll be home for christmas every year to the place where i have nothing to fear you've forgiven me now i'm free to be in my home in my home i'm home i'm home we're back together again we became friends forever the kids are okay and they'll stay that way i promise christmas has come we celebrate our future it's joyous again i hope it never ends hear the sleigh bells ring listen as my voice will sing

Here's a tune that was written in 2 days or so and recorded the solos, bass, vox, and finished writing the lyrics...within the last 2 hours or so.......as some of me Junkie buddies know........I've been without a day off for 53 straight days now so my MoJo has been been a bit missing lately....this one was written in my head and recorded the last few hours ......apologies as I'm a bit rusty on my Tele playing............rhythm on my Fender acoustic thru a Shure SM-81.....vox thru a B.L.U.E. Baby Bottle, all solos on me Taco Tele............

You can listen to the song as a man singing to a woman but the intent is to explain a true story of the One who gave the ultimate gift of love to shamefull humankind such as us! Adam and Eve were created perfect with free will but because of there wrong choice, and the wrong choices we have made , it has caused us to lose out on eternal life full of blessings. So, Yahweh (aka; God) loves us so much that he gave us a gift that cost him greatly by giving his Son ( aka; Jesus Christ) to us so that we could learn how to get back on track and to recieve eternal life and bliss! So this christmas recieve this song as a reminder of the gift that was given to us for our sake so we can get back home to where we are saposed to be! Most importantly recieve the gift that Yahweh (....Dad...) has given. I recieved the gift years ago and it's a gift that keeps on giving! On anothe note thanks to Mickymix and Wedgebill for there brilliant work of backing vocals, mix and instrumentation......You guys are a huge blessing in more ways than one! Grandest thanks to Yahweh for the gift and Yahsuah for being obidient every step of the way to the call of our creator and Dad who makes all things possible! Merry Christmas to all! HalleluYahweh!!!

Christmas morning, watching his daughter play in the new fallen snow, a father realizes what's important in life.

I was sitting around thinking about Christmas carols and it dawned on me that Silent Night is basically a blues. So, I sort of made this a rocked up blues that goes even rockier toward the end. A big shout out to Auckland who laid down 5-string bass on this. Thanks, man! Have a Merry Xmas and thanks for listening and good luck to all entrants!

This Song should take you through 3 stages Sorrow, Redemtion, and Reborn. Maybe, there are 3 Guardian Angels for each of us? One that looks out for us, protecting us from others. One that looks out for others, protecting them from us, and one that drinks heavily and screws with the other two so they can make excuses when they screw up. That's what I think, mine were distracted this year. I hope all our Guardian Angel's will be with us all next year. There is still a Holiday Message that I have a lot to be thankful for. I know that the theme of RR14 is supposed to be a winter or holiday song.. But I have been sick since I was 14... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year- including X-mas.. This was my first ever rifflink collaboration.. Infact it is the first song I have ever written from start to finish.. It has always been my dream to be a songwriter. I would like to thank the guys who made this song possible with there amazing talent.. Joshua001 for the great bass groove, Troy2006 for the perfect lead solo for this song.. And Stymie for his expert drums and his mix that was used for the final post.. Last but not least I want to thank my honey for taking no credit so I could enter it even though he put a ton of time in it for me. And my son for being my honest critic.. The musicians here on riffworks are some of the finest in the world, The world just doesn't know about you guys yet.. Keep the faith you guys Rock!!!!
